to determine what examinations and courses of study in

other Universities or places of learning shall be deemed equivalent to examinations and courses of study in the

University and to propose persons to the Chancellor, for admission to Medical degrees, and to exercise the power of the

paragia of

Chancellor as set out in Statute 3 to confer degrees, in Medicine and Surgery and any such degree so conferred shall

be deemed to have been conferred at a congregation of the whole University.

Provided that in exercising such powers the Committee shall recognise only/courses and examinations undergone at

another place of learning or University, which equivalent to the comparable courses and examinations/which would normally have been gone through by the students affected in the University,
